About Me

Anna Hoy, Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor

I believe that the mind and body are connected. As a lifelong athlete, I can testify that positive thinking and imagery can help you achieve your peak performance. With a background in applied psychology, I also have learned how your mind can create self-fulfilling prophecies, where what you think becomes reality.

After a wonderful experience with the birth of my first child using Hypnobabies in 2015, I emerged with a passion for childbirth education. I teach Hypnobabies classes because I want other families to feel as empowered and prepared as I did for my two births. I also love offering a platform that can bring couples closer together during one of the biggest moments of their life.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human & Organizational Development / Child Studies from Vanderbilt University and a Master's degree in Public Affairs from UNC Greensboro. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Robert, and have two children, Hayden and Teague. Outside of Hypnobabies, I enjoy being outdoors, photography, and binge watching reality TV while snuggling with our dog.

I look forward to supporting you throughout your peaceful pregnancy and easier birth experience.
