About Me
Anna Hoy, Hypnobabies Childbirth Hypnosis Instructor
After an "aha!" experience during the pregnancy and birth of my first child using Hypnobabies in 2015, I emerged with a passion for childbirth education. I've personally experienced both hospital and homebirth with Hypnobabies. I teach Hypnobabies classes because I want other families to feel as empowered and prepared as I did for my two births. I also love offering a platform that can bring couples closer together during one of the biggest moments of their lives.
As a lifelong athlete, I can testify that positive thinking and imagery can help you achieve your peak performance. The mind and body are connected. I love that Hypnobabies has designed a childbirth preparation program using the power of this connection to transform our birth experiences.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Human & Organizational Development / Child Studies from Vanderbilt University and a Master's degree in Public Affairs from UNC Greensboro. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Robert, and have two children, Hayden and Teague. I work full-time for an environmental nonprofit. Personally I enjoy spending time chasing waterfalls, planning my next vacation, and watching reality TV.
I look forward to supporting you throughout your peaceful pregnancy and easier birth experience.
